    There are DOZEN of those apps. The one i use/contribute is https://github.com/numist/Switch

    OSX is like using windows in the 90s. You need a dozen weird apps for basic stuff.

    iterm2 still steal Option-tab on all of them.

    and replacing command-tab breaks in other apps.

    There's no solution other than to suffer it.
