Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Traffic capture UDM Pro
My friend just did ntopng on his with this script.https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm

UMD Pro / UMD SE - What happened to Dashboard Downlink-Uplink Real-Time Usage?
I read about https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm but needing to do that and having to have another webpage up to see the kind of information I want ( not even sure if this is "real-time" ) is not a great solution.

View client bandwidth use in real time
You can view the DPI stats in the controller which no one has ever trusted. You can also use some 3rd party tools like iftop of ntopng to track bandwidth use. Full disclosure, I ported ntopng to the UDM: https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm

Big Chunk of Traffic Not Being Inspected by DPI - Help!
If you want something much better, do yourself a favour and install ntopng on your UDM. It records much more information than DPI like time-series data, supports IPv6, and is much more accurate at classifying traffic. You can read all the features ntop supports here.

Should I migrate to Ubiquiti or not?
You should look into setting up Ntopng. Wayyyy better monitoring and can track individual usage by IP, devices, etc. You set it up directly on the UDM or UDMP so no additional hardware. I haven’t noticed any performance delays on it either. The link is below. Feel free to shoot me questions if you got any. https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm

Pro tip: Set a bandwidth limiter or smart QoS to improve overall network Performance
the udm pro is good to about 650mbps. Cake here: https://github.com/fabianishere/udm-kernel

Bufferbloat, how videoconferencing and web traffic interfere, and how to fix it
Arguably smart queues or preferably cake ack-filter on just the outbound 40mbit on the udm pro will be a mite better than PIE in many scenarios but that would take benchmarking. cake for the udm pro is available here: https://github.com/fabianishere/udm-kernel

UDM Base new user questions
https://github.com/fabianishere/udm-kernel is apparently 4.19 based

mDNS, VPNs & the UDM-Pro
This is not the most serious deficiency, but perhaps a more robust solution is possible. It has recently become possible to swap out the kernel of a UDM to a custom kernel which permits us to enable igmpproxy. The developer also provides instructions on how to get a multicast relay working, but I've been unable to successfully apply them to allow discovery of a Chromecast Ultra from the other site. Has anyone been able to get something like that to work, or otherwise to get multicast over VPN working using some other method?

UDM Pro & Uplink QoS - SmartQueue? FQ_Codel or Cake?
Someone recently did this with the UDMP/UXGP and has built a kernel with WireGuard. It is feasible that Cake could also be added this way. https://github.com/fabianishere/udm-kernel

Running custom Linux kernels on the UDM (Pro)
I just published v4.1.37-edge2 which includes support for CAKE QoS as well as IP-VLAN, VXLAN and MAC-VLAN tap driver support.
