Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Open page in side peek is annoying, is there anyway I could config to open it in modal full page?
Thank you for cluing me in to the existence of the option. It's annoying that it has to be set for every individual database view. I use Notion Enhancer, but the 'open in full view' addon has not been updated yet. You can find the setting here (appears in web version and notion-enhancer):

if you want to change something else around, https://github.com/notion-enhancer/repo/blob/main/theming/variables.css is the original css which you would just open, and edit the values, to get colors or something else to your liking
