Project mention: I found a Pixelmator Pro template to "Big Sur-ify" your app icons | /r/MacOS | 2023-12-10I found this template online and recreated it myself, while adding a couple new features like the "no background" option and the option to include your launcher of choice in the app icon. I would link who made the first template but I apologize I can't remember, I found it a couple weeks ago. The launcher icons (except for parallels) are all taken from macosicons.com, a website which I highly recommend as the easiest way to "Big Sur-ify" apps that don't already have the new icon design. Sometimes your specific game or app isn't there so this template is for those times.
Project mention: Show HN: Browse the modern web from ye olde' Macintosh | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-03-25This is meant to copy the look of System 6. It uses the system.css design system^0, and the Internet Explorer logo from Windows 98. The reason we use IE is because this was one of the first (the first?) browser shipped with Mac OS, but it didn't arrive until macOS 8 or so. So, this work can be considered historical fiction: there never was IE, or even a browser on System 6, which existed around 1991, the year of Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

I think no one mentioned DropPoint here.
Project mention: Planning to install LineageOS, don't have enough courage so want to confirm everything | /r/LineageOS | 2023-05-24If you're serious about trying to avoid gapps I'd recommend using Open Android Backup to backup and restore apps/data, I found that it made testing out the different options (Lineage with/without gapps, Lineage w/ MicroG from fdroid, Lineage w/ MicroG magisk module, Lineage w/MicroG baked in etc.) significantly less painful!
