Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

My Obsidian Review
I've been using Notable (v1.9 beta 10) which is also .md based, and has a similar look to this.
-
PDF
From the menu, or the context menu, for each note there should be an option for exporting them, then you can select to export them to PDF. Exporting to PDF should work better on beta10 (https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1.9.0-beta.10).

[Feature Request] PDF Export: Transfering YAML Frontmatter in the Markdown to the PDF as metadata
You should be able to run queries like that in the beta (https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1.9.0-beta.10), there's going to be some limit to interoperability with arbitrary third-party apps, but of course if we can improve the situation why not.
-
Does it work complete offline
Only when you explicitly request it. And those links and the data behind it is deleted after like a day (it's configurable in the latest builds https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1.9.0-beta.10)

Notable Future
The last release is here: https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1.9.0-beta.10

How does sharing work? Can I disable it?
If you are on the betas (https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1.9.0-beta.10) you can change the url where notes are send to (perhaps to a dummy one), you can also delete the sharing button via css.

Voby: A new frontend framework with high performance, no special Babel transform and no magic
I'll re-do the UI of Notable (https://github.com/notable/notable) (updated builds at https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases) with it. Possibly the website too.
-
[Feature Request] Notes Linked Together based on topic / keywords
Some of that is already implemented in the betas https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/

In need of note taking app with tags and folders organising option, image shown in notes featyure and markdown support
The notable app is fantastic and when it comes to powerful and easy tagging, search, and customization. Shortcuts are easily customizable and it has a scripting language to automate almost anything. But make sure you get the latest beta (it's stable and light-years ahead of the 1.84 app listed on the website). https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases

Pikchr – PIC-like markup language for diagrams in technical documentation
Pikchr is awesome! I'll just mention that the Markdown-based note-taking app I'm working on as far as I know is the only app on the planet that can syntax-highlight Pikchr code: https://github.com/notable/notable-insiders/releases/tag/v1....

Resources for understanding the Solid compiler
My plan was to read Voby's code. It's similar to Solid but less code to read.

Unleashing Million.js v2.0.0
voby (Fabio Spampinato) The Million.js "template" concept is derived from Voby's template() API.

Reactivity Without Virtual DOM
By and large having no VDOM frees you from having to structure things in an unergonomic way, for performance or otherwise, whatever limitations Svelte and Solid have in this regard are self-inflicted. For example my framework allows you to destructure props just fine, still no VDOM (https://github.com/vobyjs/voby).

Voby: Simplifications Over Solid - No Babel, No Compiler
Hello 👋, my name is Fabio and in the process of trying to deeply understand the awesome Solid framework I ended up writing my own standalone reactivity library, Oby, and a Solid-like reactive framework on top of it, Voby.
- Voby: a new high-performance framework, inspired by Solid, with no custom Babel transform, it works with TypeScript's
