do you really need motion controls for yuzu ?
For botw use CEMU-NO-GYRO to map the gyro to stick to do the gyro puzzles and disable gyro aiming in the options to play with a gyroless controller.

Any reliable way to emulate gyroscope (motion controls) for botw?
Have you tried cemu-no-gyro ? It's purposely made for Xbox controllers who lack gyro, but maybe it can help you ! https://github.com/quinton-ashley/cemu-no-gyro

Can I use my xbox controller gyro thingy for shrines that require it?
It seems like it may not because the description on the github page doesn't mention it. I don't have any personal experience with this software.
