northstar-dedicated VS viper

Thanks for the quick reply. I am grabbing the docker image from an online source (the project in question) but like I said I can't find it on dockerhub and every guide I've read has mentioned dockerhub so I want to make sure that this will still work as intended without a link to dockerhub.

If you try to launch the Titanfall 2 Northstar Client from Steam after Origin turned into the EA app and you get the error "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end cause your launch to fail. Try again a little later", just install and launch from the Viper app. I don't know why this works, but it does.

Download the Viper program. ( https://github.com/0neGal/viper ) It downloads and installs the latest Northstar version with a single click. Much easier than dealing with zip files.

Mods are uploaded to https://northstar.thunderstore.io/ and can be installed with Viper, VTOL, or manually as long as you're using Northstar.

Check out https://github.com/0neGal/viper for any easy way to install NS, btw. I'm not associated with the author, it's just what I use.

that article isn't really up to date. We now recommend people to use one pf the UI based installers like R2Modman, VTOL or Viper
