At the time, I wrote a simple bash script to refresh the peer list every hour and just left it running. You could do something similar using cron/etc. If you're familiar with bash the script is here in /other/checkmesh.sh

I use this procedure to flush the iptables, to make it a little easier I've incorporated them into this bash script in Settings - IPTables.

It works great for me on Linux Mint but I have no idea if there's an updated version in the AUR or other complications with Arch. I use it with this bash script.

Due to previous experience I got into the habit of purging and reinstalling the app for every version upgrade. If you're familiar with bash there is a script here in /other/nuclear.sh. Should work OK on the VM, don't know about containers.

I generated the Frankfurt WireGuard config file using this bash script on Linux Mint, I don't know if it will run on a Mac since it needs Bash v4+

No problem! If you're interested I've written this bash script which makes the Linux CLI even faster/easier to use. It also works fine over ssh.

If your router can load WireGuard config files directly then you may also be interested in this bash script which can create them automatically. Good Luck!

I think the easiest way to do it is to install the Nord CLI, then use a script like this one to generate multiple wireguard config files for different locations and then uninstall the CLI if you want to.

To make it a little easier you can use a script such as this one or my own bash script (in Settings - Tools - Wireguard).

Yeah you basically just need wireguard-tools in Linux to pull the info for the router configuration. To make it a little easier, Tomba made a script here, which I've also incorporated here (in Settings-Tools-Wireguard).

Easily follow this tutorial for the commands, or you can try my script (Settings-Tools-WireGuard) which will pull the info and put it into a config file. Mine is based on Tomba's script here.
