Earbud advice against loud hammering or Banging sounds
A neighbour has been tormenting for weeks by banging against walls with a hammer and other objects at random times at night. An example is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xOziwQ77aw or more examples on my "noise log": https://github.com/berndporr/noisy_neighbour I have been using wax based earbuds which are quite OK but not perfect. The noise by neighbour is making is very abrupt and unpredictable. The earbuds dampen it to a degree that I no longer stand upright in bed at 3am after a massive bang but it still wakes me up. Wondering if anybody has experience with active earbuds if they work against these short-lived impulse like banging sounds? I've read about the QuietOn but then they are mostly against snoring or street noise? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Which MATLAB course to take for undecided
There are a lot of python packages for engineering and scientific applications (as well as other applications in general, and, thanks to the inherently collaborative nature of free software, they are only growing in quantity and quality. Many MATLAB toolboxes already have Python equivalents.
