    • A neighbour has been tormenting for weeks by banging against walls with a hammer and other objects at random times at night. An example is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xOziwQ77aw or more examples on my "noise log": https://github.com/berndporr/noisy_neighbour I have been using wax based earbuds which are quite OK but not perfect. The noise by neighbour is making is very abrupt and unpredictable. The earbuds dampen it to a degree that I no longer stand upright in bed at 3am after a massive bang but it still wakes me up. Wondering if anybody has experience with active earbuds if they work against these short-lived impulse like banging sounds? I've read about the QuietOn but then they are mostly against snoring or street noise? Any advice would be very much appreciated.
