Solution to evaluating JS in buffer
A lightweight solution is https://github.com/abicky/nodejs-repl.el but I found it doesn't work with dependencies (your package.json), which didn't make it usable for me.

Hacking Fish Script In Emacs
It can send codes in buffer to Fish REPL. It's still a work in progress, so I want to develop based on nodejs-repl.

Hey man, I was working on a NodeJS REPL as well https://github.com/anonimitoraf/skerrick but am struggling to deal with imports/exports. Does your REPL solution allow imports/exports?

Solution to evaluating JS in buffer
I have looked at swank-js, indium, and skerrick, but none works out of the box (1~2 hours of investment didn't result in anything). Are there people getting this workflow working in Emacs?
