Raylib is also well liked and, IMO, well put together if you want to look at a very approachable framework kind of project.

Given that you ask this question I assume you're very new to gamedev. So if these suggestions are too overwhelming checkout raylib instead. It's meant for C but very easy to get started with.

I would like to install RayLib graphics library however the build guide the author provided doesn't work for me. Here you can see that I entered the commands that the author provided however the library still does not work for as can be seen here because Raylib functions do not work.

macroquad is a simple and easy to use game library for Rust programming language, heavily inspired by raylib.

I'm trying to rewrite the breakout clone in JavaScript and I want to use said function to check collisions between the paddle and the ball but I'm having trouble with the parameters. I was looking at Flappy to see if they had used one of the builtin collision functions but they used there own AABB collision. Am I better off just making my own CircleRect collision function or is there a way to use the built in functions in JS?
