This one worked for my HP scanner https://github.com/manuc66/node-hp-scan-to
Maybe it's not something standard and every company has their own implementation

Paperless NGX + node-hp-scan-to
Some time back I posted about a very cool little project called node-hp-scan-to, which allows me to scan documents from my HP Printer directly to the /consume folder for Paperless NGX. I was never quite happy with things and ran into a few issues (mostly between Paperless and Redis - I was running them on Unraid) so I finally sat down and put everything into a docker-compose file. I hope this helps someone else out there.

HP Scan to Computer and Paperless NGX
This is where the node-hp-scan-to docker came in super handy. It was very easy to setup and configure, and allowed me to have my scanner (on an guest wifi network) send scanned documents straight to unRaid.

I, too, feel attacked like the person in hot
All the guides on the internet for exactly this error code are completely misleading and say to fix registry keys (but not which of them), but i use linux so i was 1000% sure that's not the issue. And yeah i'm a software developer and use https://github.com/manuc66/node-hp-scan-to to scan pages and i added support for my printer there 🤣

Ask HN: What have you built more than twice and wish someone had built for you?
A SaaS for managing personal documents. The closest I have right now (not SaaS) is paperless-ng[0], but I have to self-host it, unless I missed a really compelling solution.
I have a sea of documents, both physical and electronic, and it's always a struggle to scan/organize/find them. I'd pay good money for a software/service that manages my documents, from scanning to archiving.
