Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

Lightning payments for my business
Usually lightning payments don't require the use of debit/credit cards. There is a new protocol called boltcard that allows you to make lightning payments with a prepaid NFC card (https://github.com/boltcard/boltcard). This is very cool but it's in its early stages of adoption.

In addition to that I now and then try to pay with Bitcoins at other stores. Last time got excited about boltcards (https://github.com/boltcard/boltcard) there are few places in my country which accept it, but it is quite a new thing.

Could BTC ever have a traditional banking "feel"?
Just get a Bolt Card, and set it up with your own node server, it's open source. You can then just tap with your card in any merchant with NFC, for example BTCPayServer.
