nextdns-setting VS NextDNS-Config

That really depends from person to person. There's no best configuration. Everyone has their own preference. I suggest looking at https://github.com/crssi/NextDNS-Config or https://github.com/scafroglia93/nextdns-setting/blob/master/nextdns-setting.txt but keep in mind that they may not be enough or may even be too aggressive for you.

I'm running four block lists (Adguard DNS, Steven Black, OISD, and notracking) and Native Tracking (Samsung and Roku) and notice a lot of redundancy when looking at the logs. In addition I followed the suggested settings I came across on github: https://github.com/scafroglia93/nextdns-setting/blob/master/nextdns-setting.txt

go to nextdns.io, "try now", copy this config settings: https://github.com/crssi/NextDNS-Config, and then finally add that to your windows pc which nextdns tells you how to do

I followed https://github.com/crssi/NextDNS-Config and works well for me. No need to use whitelist so far.
