Not exactly the answer to your question, but https://news.opensuse.org/ and https://dominique.leuenberger.net/blog/ regularly summarizes the most important changes going into TW. By reading them and looking up things a bit further you can tell whether you need to take action.

What does the Opensuse Firefox-KDE patch actually do?
While looking into additional Firefox/KDE functionality, I found the Opensuse KDE patch recommended fairly often. Most people recommended it just for the Global Menu functionality it repairs, but there are two separate patches and they both look significantly longer than just that one change.
