Are netctl hooks supposed to be executed for netctl-auto?
I don't use netctl, but if you read the full documentation and it seems like it should work the way you expected I would request support in their repo: netctl-github

Is there a CLI you're missing?
I'm not terribly familiar with NixOS, but it's systemd, right? netctl should make install fine I think https://git.archlinux.org/netctl.git/ / https://github.com/joukewitteveen/netctl

Vim 9 Status
But overall it's not much of a difference; I mostly wanted to try it to see if there are some painpoints and provide some feedback. Anyway, the full file is at: https://github.com/arp242/dotfiles/blob/master/vim/vimrc

Is there a CLI you're missing?
There are also some other things it can't do; for example moving an input from my laptop speakers to bluetooth (happens automatically most of the time, but not always) or moving it away from the HDMI it automatically selects sometimes. I have a little script which takes care of that for me, but really, this is far harder than it needs to be.
