Lost AMD 6900xt, now in software rendering
I've been using Fedora for the last few years on a secondary machine with a gtx 1080, mostly for work. I've decided to make the jump on my primary system as well. through the setup process in getting things working, I ran into an issue with lm_sensors not detecting CPU temps, mobo voltages and fan speeds. It did of course detect the 6900xt and it's temps. After some research I found the monitoring chip model which lead me to github (https://github.com/Fred78290/nct6687d). I downloaded it and installed it per the instructions now I see what couldn't before for the motherboard, which is great.
- No CPU Temps with ryzen 5900X and msi b550 tomahawk
- Fedora 34 black ridge & a9x14 fan speed not deteced?

Thoughts/concerns on this build
There is a driver that if you follow the instructions, will make the fans and temp sensors work perfectly: https://github.com/Fred78290/nct6687d

HOWTO : Paragon NTFS driver instead of crappy Fuse.
Another issue I have: File permissions are somewhat strange. Surely, there is no 1- to-1 correspondence from NTFS<->linux. However when mounting "as permissive as possible" via the FUSE driver, all folders and files are world-writeable and their permissions also show that. For ntfs3, you can also make them world-writeable by ignoring the permissions via "no_acs_rules". However, the shown permissions are inconsistent/wrong according to this option. I opened an issue yesterday: https://github.com/rmnscnce/ntfs3/issues/5
