Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The Name suggestion list is a collection of commonly used feature tags, to ensure consistency when mapping. If you've used iD or EveryDoor, you've encountered it.

If your editor supports name-suggestion-index (iD does), it should auto-tag for you when picking a well known company. So you could just enter something like JiffyLube and see that it uses shop=car_repair and use that tag for the shop you’re adding/modifying.
