How to make a sonic boom?
Recently sended Volocopter to 300000 feets (with the teleport feature of vfrmap mod, just for the lulz) and while it was going down, I've noticed some crazy horizontal ground speed... something much more than 1000 knots. Sadly, no changes in sound and no sonic booms :/ :)

Does anyone else have fun just opening up Google maps and just exploring?
Probably not really what you are talking about, just discovered recently vfrmap addon for the game (well, just started to play in it like 2 months ago) and love it for ability to actually see cities names and other things around me, so I get much more context where actually I'm. Just in case if there is will be someone like me :)

Issues with using second monitor for VFR map, etc. [performance issue]
Not sure on the FPS bug, but I stopped using the ingame VFR map for other reasons (bug where you can't control the plane anymore) and intead use this VFR map So much better than the ingame one, shows airports, streets, towns, can zoom in and out easily, even teleport directly using the map.

MSFS US Tour in F-15
I recently completed a scenic tour of the US in the DC Designs F-15. I designed the route around national parks, major US cities, and places I've been before. The speed of this plane enabled me to cover hundreds of miles in 30-60 minute flights, and finish the trip in a reasonable amount of time. The flights were recorded with pilot path recorder and imported into Google Earth. VFRmap was also used for navigation. I took close to 500 screenshots from the trip, but narrowed it down to a few below.

Can we have a giant freeware thread?
VFR map - Plugin that runs in your browser, much better than the in-game map
- For those who don’t like a huge set up. I built this system just for this game.

Why Don't I Like Git More?
I've started to en ntegrate lazygit into my workflow.
It's quite easy to work with and I use git in a more powerfull way. My main problem is finding the way in all hotkeys.

Easy Access to Terminal Commands in Neovim using FTerm
The last thing you really need is a common set of tools that you want fingertip access to. I really commonly use LazyGit and K9s in my day job so those are the tools I will show off in this article.

Ask HN: Can we do better than Git for version control?
Yes, but due to its simplicity + extensibility + widespread adoption, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re still using Git 100+ years from now.
The current trend (most popular and IMO likely to succeed) is to make tools (“layers”) which work on top of Git, like more intuitive UI/patterns (https://github.com/jesseduffield/lazygit, https://github.com/arxanas/git-branchless) and smart merge resolvers (https://github.com/Symbolk/IntelliMerge, https://docs.plasticscm.com/semanticmerge/how-to-configure/s...). Git it so flexible, even things that it handles terribly by default, it handles
