moviematch VS bw_plex

For movie night decision paralysis, I run an instance of MovieMatch on my server: https://github.com/LukeChannings/moviematch

I've played around with some other services, such as Rollarr and MovieMatch, but they haven't become permanent fixtures in my setup. I'm also trying to find a service that will allow me to more easily manage posters and title cards. I've begun delving into TitleCardMaker but haven't gotten too far yet.

I think the closest thing would be moviematch, make sure to use the develop branch on docker, as stable was really outdated and lacking important features the last time I checked.

And for those times you can't figure out what to watch with other ppl, may I introduce you to MovieMatch. It's like Tinder for your libraries.

Here is tinder for plex it works pretty well and is still being developed, v2.0 was just released to beta.

Also, look into intro/outro skipping (check bw_plex for inspiration). Could be a database too. It's one of the best features of Netflix, you match it - you get instant clout.

You can implement that kind of functionality without Plex Pass. There are some 3rd party self-hosted applications that do this like bw_plex.
