MX Player automatically reads and pastes from your clipboard.
Not relevant to this thread , but I personally use 'just player' , no bullshit lightweight video player app, although it doesn't offer as much features as MX or VLC for that matter, but works for almost all videos and have never ran into any issue with it.

Also I might be wrong I don't know much about coding and stuff but if it's possible then this app could rely on JustPlayer as the video player in the app. This may reduce NOVA's developer workload for video player. This app could be an awesome media library with modern design.

I need to record calls, both ways, and it should work with a bluetooth earpiece.

Is there an easier way to enable native call recording than compiling yourself?
Alternatively there is Axet's call recorder which is free to use. It's a plain recorder but it works well from what I remember a few years ago.
