Don't get me wrong. I love this app. This is the only media player which supports metadata and scrobbling for local files on android but the UI is so outdated, It looks like it's straight from 2017 or 2018. In 2023, many apps have this Material design 3 giving a consistent and personalized look for overall system. I would like this app this to have it please or any kind of update to the UI. Some good threads 1 2 . Some examples of what I mean 1 2 3 .
Also I might be wrong I don't know much about coding and stuff but if it's possible then this app could rely on JustPlayer as the video player in the app. This may reduce NOVA's developer workload for video player. This app could be an awesome media library with modern design.
