It's a bit of a change to your setup but my code is https://github.com/msh100/modem-stats, you can use this within Telegraf to push data into whatever your datastore is. I should probably make it possible to expose a Prometheus endpoint too.

2) I can no longer access the modem status page at http://192.168.100.1/. The requests are sent to the modem, but the modem does not answer. I use the hub3_exporter (https://github.com/welbymcroberts/hub3_exporter) to grab the modem metrics and import into prometheus.
