I calculated every invalid account number through 800k if there’s any account numbers you want to check. If the account is in the text file then it’s won’t be anybody’s account number. Mod11 is being used by Computershare, you can find the list of invalid account numbers I calculated in a GitHub repo here: https://github.com/clawesome/mod11/blob/main/mod11.txt or the raw text file at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/clawesome/mod11/main/mod11.txt. Do a simple text search for your account number and you won’t find it in the list, but you will find 9 account numbers that match all but the last digit of your account number, as there’s only one valid mod11 number per 10 numbers. For example, the only valid C000069042x account number is C0000690422. Unfortunately 690420 isn’t a valid mod11 number and neither is 696969. I calculated all the invalid mod11 CS account numbers up through 700,000, any account number that shows up in the list isn’t valid and your own account number won’t show up in the list. I encourage everyone to do a simple text search for their own account numbers in the list, as it would invalidate mod11 if your account is listed, but so far nobody’s account number has been in the list. It’s a 20mb text file and some browsers, especially mobile, may struggle with it, best to open with a text edit like Sublime Text or similar.

I uploaded it here, it's in Swift as that's my most proficient language. You can create a new MacOS project and replace the main controller with that file and run it yourself. The code isn't optimized, just hacked together pretty quick.

Sublime is a massive improvement in my opinion, and cross platform. It's not free but you can use a personal license at work and on multiple machines.

The format of the test files themselves is inspired by the relatively new initiative by the Sublime Text team when they introduced a new grammar file format called Sublime Syntax and – more importantly – a way to unit test grammars. It’s using some lovely human-friendly magic comments that allow to specify what scopes should the grammar file produce for a given position on a given line.

i would consider buying if they stop shipping eol software. they ship py3.3 which is eol of 10 years! seems like a wont fix too
