mocha VS Next.js

MochaJS is a feature-rich JavaScript test framework running on Node.js, making it a popular choice for both backend and frontend testing. It's known for its flexibility and straightforward syntax, allowing for asynchronous testing and the use of any assertion library.

We use Jest Framework for testing. Jest is not a dogma, and, of course, in its place can be any other test runner, such as Mocha or Ava. Let's focus on tests. Until the time of writing, there is no official example of how to enable runtime environmental variables in a Dockerized Next.js app, as utilizing unstable_noStore would only dynamically evaluate variables on the server (node.js runtime). There is also an interesting discussion regarding this topic on GitHub.

next.js is a very popular React framework. remix-adonisjs includes more functionality through the AdonisJS backend ecosystem, and should be easier to self-host and self-manage.
