Android Studio via Jetbrains Gateway?
Not exactly what you're looking for but one option you could try is Mirakle - it still requires you to run the IDE locally but Gradle builds are done remotely

since android uses normally gradle to build projects, a possible solution might be the mirakle plugin.

I'm aware of Projector but looks like Jetbrains recommends using Jetbrains Gateway now. I installed it but didn't find Android Studio as an available option.
