Embedded scripting engine with ability to pause itself (or `yield` halfway)?
Check out miniscript it already has bindings for Lua though uses Luaj under the hood. Implementing a custom script executor would allow for the type of behavior you’re looking for I think.

In java >=9 when using modules what is the correct way to require javax.vecmath?
Any reason you use javax.vecmath instead of something like JOML?
