The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Mevboost v1.6 - is this a bug?
FYI, this is fixed now: https://github.com/flashbots/mev-boost/issues/541

Daily General Discussion - June 27, 2023
mev-boost v1.6 was released yesterday - it's often the part of the validator stack that gets neglected when it comes to updates.

Mev and solo stacking
For the setup, did you look at https://boost.flashbots.net/ ? Pretty straightforward, and examples of configuration for validator nodes are provided for each soft (prysm, lighthouse, nimbus...). I remember using that (and potentially doing one or two little adjustments). For the explanation, flashbot doc is nice, you can start here: https://docs.flashbots.net/new-to-mev

Yesterday I missed my first proposal. Can anyone help explain why?
Are you also using MEV? Because a few people seem to have this same issue. Maybe it is a MEV-Geth thing. If so could you post your MEV logs?

Monthly Income as Eth Validatot?
Ahh I see yep, on the builder side not the validator side. Validators using https://github.com/flashbots/mev-boost but whichever builder gets chosen may likely be using those (especially if flashbots has the highest bid).

MEV boost Yes or No?
Personally I think the risk benefit is better to have mevboost activated. https://github.com/flashbots/mev-boost/issues/518

Proposal missed with error "posting the SignedBlindedBeaconBlockCapella to the builder api"
The same thing happened to me, I opened an issue in prysm and in mevboost, we are not the only ones with bad luck, https://github.com/prysmaticlabs/prysm/issues/12434 https://github.com/flashbots/mev-boost/issues/516 try adding the --build-block-parallel flag I also removed 2 relays, flashboot and brute. Hopefully next time we'll have better luck. sorry for my bad english

Choosing between rocketpool and solo staking. How hard is it to consistently get the expected rewards if solo staking?
MEV-Boost is an implementation of proposer-builder separation (PBS) built by Flashbots for proof of stake Ethereum. Validators running MEV-Boost maximize their staking reward by selling blockspace to an open market of builders.

[AMA] We are EF Research (Pt. 8: 07 July, 2022)
After The Merge, getting more scale into the system is probably the most pressing issue so much of our resources have been focused on 4844 and extensions of 4844 to "full sharding". Extensions of 4844 require a better `is_data_available()` function that instead of downloading everything performs Data Availability Sampling which is a hard problem to do in a decentralized/distributed yet reliable way. We just put out an [RFP](https://github.com/ethereum/requests-for-proposals/blob/master/open-rfps/das.md) to get more teams in this and are excited by the number of submissions. Reach out if this is the first time you've seen it and are interested in performing some work/research in this domain!
