Unknown device (Should I be worried or just a bug?)
Today, an unknown device showed up in my install options. It's a "tablet" with a name "Diy DIY_D001". When I googled it nothing came up. Only thing I recently logged in with my G account was mcpelauncher (https://github.com/minecraft-linux/mcpelauncher-manifest). Does anyone know what could it be?

Convert SimCity 2000 cities into Minecraft worlds
There is https://github.com/minecraft-linux/mcpelauncher-manifest, which can run the Android JARs on MacOS or Linux (by shimming/implementing the Android APIs it uses), but a few months back one of the updates dramatically changed the rendering system, and the lone(?) MacOs/Linux maintainer of mcpelauncher is still catching up. See https://github.com/minecraft-linux/mcpelauncher-manifest/iss...
Until that breakage, I ran it quite successfully on MacOS (although it _did_ have occasional crashes)

Avatar is coming to Minecraft on December 6th.
Bedrock through MCPE linux launcher has very minimal CPU/GPU requirements. It runs smoothly on a 9 year old laptop with integrated graphics. To add to that, their friends run minecraft on their switches and ipads. This was great before renderdragon, which is causing problems with linux launcher support, but during lockdown they could play minecraft with their friends. Java really doesn't run as well.

Is there a mod that allows me to copy and paste REALLY large builds to another world like the 1:1 Tokyo Racecourse below? (WorldEdit can copy and save schematics of this world but pasting overloads the game)
There were a few projects that continued working on it. One of them, “MCEdit: Unified”, was supported until 2019, but I don’t believe it supported the MC 1.13 Block ID formats. The team remade it for newer versions and named it Amulet for MC 1.12+.

How can i keep my world under 500Mb?
You can use Amulet to delete chunks that you don't want, and it seems to work with both Java and Bedrock worlds.

HELP NEEDED - EXPORTING WORLD
Try exporting your map then using Chunker to convert to .mcworld. If your world size is too big for it, try Amulet Editor. instead.

My world is too big that minecraft keeps exiting me out of it. Is their any way I can shrink the data?
Use a map editor like Amulet to delete unused chunks of the map.

Help please
I’m not too experienced with it, but you can try to use amulet to try and edit the nether chunks

Is there any way to change the biome of an area on bedrock?
https://www.amuletmc.com It's pretty easy to use and it does offer the option to change biomes for selected chunks, as well as trim worlds etc.
-
How can I copy/paste chunks of my world to a new world? (Nintendo switch version)[bedrock]
If you have that, you can use Amulet to copy the chunks to a new world. Amulet also offers a feature that might be a better option for you. It will let you select chunks to save, then delete all others. This lets them regenerate with the new features included.

Does MCEdit still work with 1.19.4?
MCEdit is not compatible with worlds newer than 1.12.2. Some of the developers moved on to Amulet, though I'm not sure how feature complete it is.
