matrix-static VS all-contributors

Just a note to say that if you are using Matrix and want your conversations to be indexed in search engine ("Google-searchable"), you can deploy matrix-static[1] or you can use the live instance hosted by the Matrix foundation[2].

I think an interesting comparison, for both Linen and Matrix, would be to compare these 2 approaches: Linen natively indexed conversation and this Matrix "static" client. I would be especially interested by what additional features Linen provides in term of indexing compared to this static client.

Use a GitHub Action or bot: I highly recommend using the all-contributors bot because whenever someone makes a Pull Request to Deals for Dev, the bot automatically adds the person’s name and icon that exemplifies their contribution in the Contributing Guide. It makes giving recognition to people for their contributions a whole lot easier.

There are many ways to recognize contributions outside of GitHub repositories. Tools such as All Contributors provide a common way to recognize many different types of contributions, from code, to docs, and more. Contributions can also be recognized in the form of shoutouts on social media, upgraded roles on Discord or Slack channels, and access to internal chats for more focused conversations. These external interactions go a long way in building community and engagement around your project and encourage future contributors to come onboard.
