Ask HN: Why is MS Teams so slow, do devs test Teams on less powerful machines?
We treat missing msg bugs in Element as a top priority red alert for obvious reasons. I’m only aware of one recently, which was iOS specific and matches your symptoms - but very rare indeed. It got fixed in https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-ios-sdk/pull/1359 and was a leftover from the nightmare of iOS changing how push worked. Sorry that you got bitten by it. The fix is released in Elemebt iOS 1.8.0.
