Introducing MathicallJS - A new javascript math library for simulations, data processing, browser games, etc.. It was originally created for a terrain generation project.
Surprise, most of the projects upvoted on /r/javascript are amateur "resume" projects. As another poster pointed out he outright ignores any standard functions like Math.max(), actually found out he just exports them here.

TheGrint Global Handicap for Amateurs Platform (GHAP)
You would be surprised how good of a feel we can get for elevation off of a single sat image. Have a look at this link as an example. Wind/temperature conditions are actually easy to get as well by pulling the weather data based on zip code for each course and timestamp for start and finish on the live scored rounds. Those detailed weather records are ubiquitous in my industry and don't cost that much to get. You could also make assumptions about firmness based on precipitation, wind, and temperature in the prior 7-30 days. This would not really give you stuff like watering schedule, grass breed, cut height, etc. But I would be willing to bet you could get 60-80% of the way there without the additional detail. Take all of that shit and tie it in with a nice weighting system for user reported scores and you could build a really nice system just using TheGrint and other available data sources.
