how do i backup torrent sites?
Magnetissimo sort of does that but it only works for some torrent sites. e.g. 1337x, TorrentDownloads, & Nyaa.
- Magnetissimo: Self-hosted web app to index torrent sites and save magnet links
- With the web archive at risk of being shut down by suits, I built an open source self-hosted torrent crawler called Magnetissimo.

I'm overhauling my open source project and I want the redesign to be heavily inspired by Frutiger Aero aesthetics. Do you guys have any good websites/web app with this style for inspiration?
Appreciate the help in finding some design inspiration! I want my project to move away from flat design. I really dislike how soulless it is and how everything is just devoid of any taste.

Self Hosted Open Source Torrent Scraper!
Nice. If someone is looking for something less resource hungry, have a look at Torrentinim. It is the successor of Magnetissimo.

Anyone running a DHT node standalone? I'm looking for some cli tools for talking to DHT nodes.
Your question is a bit vague.. I suspect you're maybe looking for something akin to DHT scrapers? Look around there are a few existing projects for running DHT scrapers, nothing CLI but it should give you some ideas. e.g. Btdig links to this one https://github.com/btdigg-org/dhtcrawler2

BitTorrent Site Magnet Database Archives Available via Torrent and Direct DL
well, you could run your own instance: https://github.com/btdigg-org/dhtcrawler2
- Is there a way to search for torrents on the DHT without third parties?

Self Hosted Open Source Torrent Scraper!
Although I admit, that I would love to see a maintained DHT search solution (like magnetico or dhtcrawler2).

Does VPN endpoint hopping ever actually do anything (torrents, not DDL), or am i wasting my time?
DHT Crawler: https://github.com/btdigg-org/dhtcrawler2 and the websites using it or similar (search for these websites online, some of them are chinese but they don't last very long because apparently showing links is a 'crime' now too). Searching for the file name should work in most cases, to find the same release look at file sizes. Admittedly most of the transfers will be dead but on the off chance some are actually still seeded/partially seeded (especially if fresh content), will allow you to complete your download and revitalize the swarms (Azureus aka BiglyBT now in SwarmMerging mode). If the files are partial on both transfers then this mode is your only choice until Bittorrentv2 is universally supported.
