[GB] Lumberjack 60% Through hole Keyboard Kit
Designed by the very talented Peej, The Lumberjack is a DIY 5x12 ortholinear "mono-split" keyboard using through hole parts for easier assembly, fits in most 60% keyboard cases, and supports MX, Choc v1, and Alps switches. Check out Peej's Github page here for all the details on this incredible keyboard.

You guys liked my split build. How about a semi-split? Bonus: it has a joystick!
the Lumberjack is what got me into ortholinear boards; it’s his second revision and I imagine he (and others) would be happy to provide some design suggestions about how to space things out for maximum compatibility with cases.

[EU-NL] [W] GH60 or comparable 60% aluminum case
I'm trying to build a Lumberjack keyboard but I'm having a very hard time sourcing the case. I'd like a case that hides the switch stems, so like the Tofu60, not the Planck EZ style.

Gaming with Trackball vs Mouse Comparison
Ah, it's a custom PCB design https://github.com/rgoulter/keyboard-labs/ and the design takes a clear inspiration from the Lumberjack PCB https://github.com/peej/lumberjack-keyboard

Anyone ever mod Choc V2's?
I have used choc v2 in a couple of my own custom PCB's. Here's the most recent one. This one I actually drilled for either v1 or v2. I used v2 on the one I built myself mostly because I had a bunch of DSA caps around collecting dust. I just built one for my friend that uses a mix of both actually, with clicky v1's for the mouse1/2 keys. The v2's are usable for my dayjob but not exactly a dream to type on.

Semi-split is legal here, right?
Here's the layout: https://github.com/eggsworks/tamago60/blob/main/images/tamago60_layout.png
