Designed by the very talented Peej, The Lumberjack is a DIY 5x12 ortholinear "mono-split" keyboard using through hole parts for easier assembly, fits in most 60% keyboard cases, and supports MX, Choc v1, and Alps switches. the Lumberjack is what got me into ortholinear boards; it’s his second revision and I imagine he (and others) would be happy to provide some design suggestions about how to space things out for maximum compatibility with cases.

I'm trying to build a Lumberjack keyboard but I'm having a very hard time sourcing the case. I'd like a case that hides the switch stems, so like the Tofu60, not the Planck EZ style.

Big thank you to PCBWay for providing me the CNC services to make such a high quality case, as well as giving me the opportunity to learn how to order cnc parts. They were helpful in answering any questions I had about cnc options (like minimum roughness), and I’m very impressed by the surface finish when I went with the premium finished appearance option. I recommend them if you want a reliable CNC service to RND with. There are source files to make your own case in the case folder here if you’re interested.

And that's a great question too! I have some of my ramblings that I typed up late at night [here](https://github.com/ChrisChrisLoLo/keezyboost40/blob/master/DESIGN.md), but for more context, my immediate reason was that it didn't seem like I could get Quantum Painter to work on the RP2040 with my SPI display. I got some ChibiOS error saying that it couldn't find the SPI constructs related the the rp2040 or something. I think it's a coin toss whether I misconfigured something or if the rp2040+SPI support isn't quite mature yet.
