Neovim as an alternative to SSMS or Azure Data Studio - is it a pipe dream?
The state of mssql support in text editors is not very good as far as I've seen. I think the shortest path would be getting sqltoolservice working, but there are some bumps in the emacs attempt. (For instance, I can't get completions to work at all).

What SQL formatter do you use? What can give you Intellij like formatting for SQL?
I couldn't find any LSPs that work with mssql using Windows authentication. There's lsp-mssql that could be the basis for something, but that's an emacs package, and I wasn't getting completions to work anyhow (issue)

I have been using the SPX as my main machine for two months...
I have found a workaround using the VS Code SQL Tools extension. The extension depends on the Microsoft SQL Tools Service which does have an ARM64 build. You can grab the latest ARM64 build of the SQL Tools here.

Has anyone used MSSQL with Flask or any other python framework?
Technically (or pedantically?) speaking, mssql-cli requires mssqltoolservice which is written in dotnet core, so I guess that's cheating.
What are some alternatives?
