How to fix a failed Honour Mode save
Larian uses their own proprietary filenames for their resource files. In this case profile8.lsf is a binary so editing this would be extremely tedious. However a lovely lad by the name of Norbyte has created a useful tool (https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib) to convert LSF files to LSX. My very clever guess would be LSF stands for Larian Studio File and LSX stands for Larian Studio XML. LSX files are are simple XML files that are very intuitive and easy to read and edit. These LSX files contains a number of different elements that describe different states such as if you have completed the tutorial etc. What we are looking for is this element group that describes DisabledSingleSaveSessions, essentially Honour Mode runs:

Converting an old save to the new custom difficulty
Larian's save files are not normally readable, so we need a tool to convert them to an editable format. You can find the tool here: Download Save Editor. Download and extract it to a folder.

A guide to increasing the party size limit
In order to do this, you'll need to use a third-party tool, Larian Export Tool. Modifying the game files in this way causes the game to recognize that it has been altered; I do not know at this time if this makes the file ineligible for achievements.

Setting up a romantic relationship
1. Download LSLib Toolkit, pick "ExportTool-v1.18.2.zip" https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib/releases

1 hour later, still have no idea what LSlib IS exactly
This is the most infuriating thing I've ever tried. Nowhere on this original page is a straightforward download guide.

LaughingLeader's GR2 Plugin Issue
So I'm trying to use LL's GR2 plugin for Blender 2.79 (shame id doesn't work with newer versions...) to export models for use in the game, downloaded here. However even though I've specified the location of Divine EXE, it continues to throw an error that it can't find LSLib. Does anyone have any experience with this? The documentation is rather limited, and the only troubleshooting notes is if the plugin doesn't appear at all.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing lslib and dos2de_collada_exporter you can also consider the following projects:
BG3-Modders-Multitool - Utility for quickly generating Baldur's Gate 3 mod packs from an unpacked workspace (among other things). This project is not open source; read the license.
BG3ModManager - A mod manager for Baldur's Gate 3.
