Hello
I highly recommend https://lipu-sona.pona.la to all new learners. It is probably the best resource for learning it

New Anki Deck (with audio) for jan Lentan's Toki Pona lessons
I've created an Anki deck (with audio) for jan Lentan's Toki Pona lessons.

Bing toki toki pona!
I wonder if this feature could be used to improve Bing's understanding of grammar? Maybe tell it to go through lipu sona pona or similar. Although I think it will only visit one link at a time so you would need to tell it to visit each of the lessons for it to get the whole content?

I'm new to this language and I'm very interested in learning it. is this book a good way to start learning?
No, the language has moved on significantly since pu, you're much better off reading an up to date tutorial like https://lipu-sona.pona.la/

I'm really struggling
If you want it in website form, https://lipu-sona.pona.la/ is what I learned with and https://sowelitesa.kittycat.homes/lipu-sona/ is a new one that is also good
- I don't know either

what is toki pona
i originally learned it from jan Misali altho it does have some mistakes. they're redoing it to be more accurate and up to date, but it's not done yet. there are also two official books by the languages creator. there are other popular courses, but i don't know much about them (i think i've heard good things about this one tho)

So I decided to learn Toki Pona.
First off: Good on you for getting into toki pona - and for buying the book, giving Sonja some money. Second, the dictionary is great and can be useful - but it's not necessary to learn the language fully. The section in the book that has notes and corrections on lipu pu is available for free here - those can be useful and point in some directions that different (but not all) speakers take the language. There are also some other (free) ressources I can point to, like the sona.pona.la wiki and nasin toki pona which can both answer some questions if you get stuck with the book(s)

What would you want a future official book to contain?
a detailed style guide that goes deep into the language theory like nasin toki pona,

Question regarding the use of “lon”
I like nasin toki by jan Juli for explaining toki pona grammar; it has a section on prepositions. lmk if that helps.

toki pona actions (read my comment!)
I don't see why not. English has a very silly system for deciding what order adjectives should go in, which I wouldn't expect toki pona to replicate. That being said, I think I started learning toki pona at about the same time as you, so I don't have any more experience or information than you do, except maybe this

What’s up with “anu”?
Yep, not clearly defined. Do you know nasin toki pona? https://github.com/kilipan/nasin-toki Talks a bit about that
