Hello, you all I'm trying to create my first ricing, for that, I am using Xfce but I'm struggling with how to manage the notifications, especially the notifications that have already disappeared. I don't know exactly what I'm looking for so I'm open to different approaches. What I'm trying to achieve is to list all the notifications (even if they were clicked) somewhere accessible like the desktop and be able to dismiss them. I've found this but it does not integrate well with Xfce notifications. Thank you all.

  • [HELP] Executing a notification action
    2 projects | /r/linuxquestions | 19 Mar 2022
I was trying to integrate notification daemon in eww with tiramisu but I also want actions to work I just know that I can use gdbus to emmit an ActionInvoked signal (I don't know how to properly emit a signal with though). So I thought I would ask here in hope for someone helping me. Btw, its not compulsory to use gdbus any workarounds are fine (if it can invoke notification action ofcourse).
  • Anybody know how to integrate notifications into waybar?
    3 projects | /r/swaywm | 13 Sep 2021
You might also look at Tiramisu. It provides a deamon to output notification content to stdout allowing you to script it into a waybar module (and much else). There is already a project that does this for polybar If you ALSO want regular popup notifications, check out herbe
  • Notification center like window for sway

Afaik the answer is no, but you can use tiramisu and make your own notification center using some basic bash scripts with rofi or dnust itself.
