Use MCPE Launcher. It downloads the Android version of minecraft and replaces native android libraries with corresponding desktop linux libraries. You need to own it on the play store, though and it crashes pretty often. The AUR version if outdated, use the appimage instead https://github.com/ChristopherHX/linux-packaging-scripts/releases

For Java, I would say Prism Launcher (in Discover app store), for Bedrock, your best bet is the Android version with this Appimage (you'll need to own the Android version and sign in with your Google account, just make sure to select the x86_64 version).

This is Minecraft: Bedrock Edition running on SteamOS using MCPELauncher, which works by running the android version of Minecraft on Linux. So in order to play, you must own Minecraft on the Google Play Store.

This is the one, it's no longer supported. It works up to the last 1.18. You have to own bedrock on the android playstore, as it uses that version.

This works freaking great, but like we both said, it's not the latest version so online functionality is non-existent.

This feature is rarely seen in Linux file managers. I would recommend the CLI file manager ranger. If you need a GUI tool, you should have a look at pantheon files, the file manager of ElementaryOS.

There's Pantheon Files, but it doesn't come anywere close to having as many features as MacOS's file manager. It's a pity that the Dolphin Miller plugin was discontinued. :c

I think that on elementary OS the Files app is already used as a base for the native file chooser. You could follow it as an example. All its code is on GitHub: https://github.com/elementary/files Specifically check out the filechooser-portal directory.

I very like Elementary but I can't use it because of one bug: https://github.com/elementary/files/issues/1884 It is really important for me.
