Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

EEVDF and Bore?
EEDVF is the default CPU scheduler in CachyOS according to the PKGBUILD and the wiki. However, there's a package called cachyos-v3/linux-cachyos-eevdf-bore which I can't find in the Github repository CachyOS/linux-cachyos and the name makes it sound like it uses Bore as well as the EEVDF CPU scheduler? Which scheduler is this package actually using? Maybe I've misunderstood something?
-
runwhenidle - Linux utility that can automatically pause a computationally-intensive command when user is in front of a computer and resume it when they are away.
For anyone using CPU or IO intensive programs, you can also keep using your desktop, with Cachy OS kernel or Bore scheduler/kernel and Ananicy or ananicy-cpp. Happy gentoo user here, compiling for hours while listening to music/browsing without hiccups.
- Adding GRUB kernel parameter
bore-scheduler
- Bore (Burst-Oriented Response Enhancer) CPU Scheduler

What is your favorite Linux tweak to improve performance ?
Use cachyos kernel https://cachyos.org/ and/or bore scheduler. https://github.com/firelzrd/bore-scheduler

Manjaro is a free and open source Linux operating system that emphasizes privacy
Apparently it uses this in the kernel, which optimizes scheduling for responsiveness: https://github.com/firelzrd/bore-scheduler

- Any experiences gaming with the new BORE scheduler?
- What do you think about custom kernels like xanmod, zen and tkg (Desktop)?
What are some alternatives?
linux-cachyos - Archlinux Kernel based on different schedulers and some other performance improvements.
Lomiri-Arch - (ALPHA) PKGBUILDs for building Lomiri (former Unity8) for Arch GNU/Linux
archlinux-installer-script - Arch Linux install script. Only performs the minimal steps for booting into arch. 75 lines of script with full progress messages and tutorial.
cacule-cpu-scheduler - The CacULE CPU scheduler is based on interactivity score mechanism. The interactivity score is inspired by the ULE scheduler (FreeBSD scheduler).
Ananicy Cpp - A full, event-based rewrite of Ananicy made in C++ for better performance.
ungoogled-chromium-archlinux - Arch Linux packaging for ungoogled-chromium
runwhenidle - Linux utility that can be used to run a computationally or IO-intensive program when user is not in front of the computer.
raspi-overlayroot - Protect your SD card against wear and tear
swayidle - Idle management daemon for Wayland
wine-lol - PKGBUILDs to package GloriousEggroll's LoL-patched wine version
linux-tkg - linux-tkg custom kernels
