What are best tools for ground up bitcoin/lightning node?
I like RTL, services like loopd for channel rebalancing or if you're so inclined, the whole lightning terminal package. I love jochen's mempool explorer (source code) when estimating fees. I use blockstream's block explorer esplora (source) for my block explorer. There's so many fun tools out there I can't even come close to naming them all.

Can't loop out through Bitrefill
I use RTL a lot but I have loop out problems in everything that’s why I use CLI. The command is easy https://github.com/lightninglabs/loop

My reply to people who tell me to “just use lightning”
No, you can also loop it out (https://github.com/lightninglabs/loop). It can use batched transactions to save on fees.
- Just used LN for the first time!

Can I add Sats to an open channel?
You can use loop in to refill channel with onchain funds. https://github.com/lightninglabs/loop#loop-in-swaps
-
How to withdraw LN sats to onchain without hurting my channels?
You would have more details on why it failed in loopd debug logs. If you have access to cli, you can try using command check github docs for command options. https://github.com/lightninglabs/loop#loop-out-swaps

Lightning network channels are starting to become impossible to open/close/route payments due to double digit fees.
You don't have to close or open a channel to get funds in or out of the lightning network. https://github.com/lightninglabs/loop

Software release: Lightning Terminal v0.5.0-alpha (LND/Loop/Pool/Faraday)
Guidelines to install/upgrade Lightning Terminal on the Raspibolt: https://github.com/Pantamis/RaspiBolt/blob/LiT-install/raspibolt_40_lnd.md (thanks to Raspibolter u/Pantamis for this guide! do you plan to make it as a PR? It would be great to have it as the main option or at least as a bonus in the guide).

Lightning Terminal
I made a guide to intall it on RaspiBolt setup here (at the end): https://github.com/Pantamis/RaspiBolt/blob/LiT-install/raspibolt_40_lnd.md

We Need Fleshed-Out How-To-Guides on This Process:
I made a guide to install WireGuard [here](https://github.com/Pantamis/RaspiBolt/blob/master/raspibolt_76_WireGuard_VPN.md). I submit it as a PR in RaspiBolt repo but Stadicus seems to not look at it often :/. Feel free to share feedback [by commenting my PR](https://github.com/Stadicus/RaspiBolt/pull/644)
