Anyone got experience with the Lightning Project client?
I got involved with lightning because i wanted to buy some vouchers from bitrefill with sats. I got my client from : here (Lightning Project Client) and deposited 5k USD worth of btc (0.0882). I went to now buy some stuff from bitrefill and i use the lightning invoice address that i get at the checkout and it says (invalid address) i do this like 8 times still nothing. I went to close the channel i had because i was pending for like 2 hours (said 100% but was still missing like 200sats between "can send" and "capacity" ) now it says i have 1000usd. I have no idea how or why, ive checked the tx hashes and it looks like my btc has gone to another wallet somehow. I never approved anything like that.

What happened to lightning app?
I just came accross https://github.com/lightninglabs/lightning-app and I was wondering what happened to the project? Die development just stop back in 2019?
- Why does Lightning Labs link to this to download their desktop app instead of having some proper button and automatic installation? Is it not yet safe to use this?

Can anyone answer some basic questions for a beginner?
Where I'm at now: I've tried installing LND and eclair, but again--neither provide clear instructions on how to install (at least on Windows). Lastly, I've installed the Lightning app using the executable, which has finally worked. But, I don't know if this is a full node or just a Lightning wallet. How would I tell? As far as I can tell the only options are to pay or request sats.

Goodbye Visa, Hello Bitcoin
You could use something like https://github.com/BlueWallet/LndHub which is a software on top of LND that allows for multiple accounts. So you could run the LND and manage the channels while having multiple clients that don't have to bother with all of that but just use create accounts on top of our setup to utilize the lightning network.

How to have multiple Accounts/Wallets on a single Lightning Node
BlueWallet relies on what are called LndHubs, essentially an account system on top of a lightning node. By default, BlueWallet uses their own LndHub when you install their app. But you can provide your own. You could either manually set up an LndHub, or use this incredibly simple solution:
