light VS Brightness

I'm using wayland/hyprland and using light from https://github.com/haikarainen/light to control the lighting.

Try light. The repo's been archived, but still works as of today.

I don't know what is torch in this case but controlling leds can be done with a tool called light: https://github.com/haikarainen/light

I am trying to make my Thinkpad's keyboard led's to work with the keybinds in dwm. I am using this program to control the led: https://github.com/haikarainen/light It works when using manually, but the set command requires number '100' to turn led on and number '0' to switch it off.

My Fn keys are bound to light, so I can't say for sure it would work in all environments.

But somehow the 'brightness-controller' application is working after install and changes hardware brightess smoothly. At the same time when installing 'brightnessctl' or 'light', it doesn't work.

I installed Brightness controller and Gammy both of them are not working in Manjaro gnome but worked fine in Pop OS.

What I did, was switch back to light mode everywhere (boy it was hard at first), turn brightness of the monitor all the way down and also dimming and warming the colors a bit with Brightness controller. The desired effect is actually something called sepia (mode that should imho be implemented along side light and dark modes). Basically dim yellowish background with nice and crispy black or dark gray font.
