Need help regarding understanding and setting up USB.
If you want to implement USB devices that are more complicated than just a single interface (i.e. a composite device) I would not bother using the USB Middleware provided by ST. A very good (and portable!) USB library for STM32 µC's i have grown to love is libusb_stm32.

Are you trying to build your own nanoVNA? There are many different versions of the nanoVNA on the internet, google "nanovna source" and see how they implemented the signal generator part.
