Snes9x2010 - Onion OS 4.2 Functioning Netplay Core - Guide
Some of the core info files in Onion may need updating (you can search libretro docs to understand whether a specific core supports netplay and which save state format), also see recent core info files here (these may not represent the build of the core available in Onion). If replacing/updating core info files, you should also delete your core_info.cache (in the same folder).

Easily organize your RetroArch BIOS files with igir!
The best way to do it would be to dynamically generate a dat from files listed in each core definition file at https://github.com/libretro/libretro-core-info. However, even those definition files don't list everything (key/unique console data for citra etc., pcsx2 bios)

Core Sideloading on Linux
I've been trying to setup RetroArch on my steam deck, and I'm trying to use the Steam version to use those sweet-sweet cloud saves. I need to use cores that aren't in the steam version, but I can't figure out side loading on linux. I downloaded the Linux x86_64 cores from the repository, as well as info files from this repo.

How to get 3DS emulation core (mostly Citra) onto RetroArch which is on my Series S?
From a quick analysis of https://github.com/libretro/libretro-super/tree/master/dist/info, there are about 30 hardware-rendered cores available on retroarch :

Dolphin on steamos?
As I discovered the hard way, this doesn't include the core info files. Your cores won't be usable at all in Retroarch until you place the corresponding info file alongside it in the folder too. You can get them here

ClayFighter 2: Judgment Clay completed with Bad Mr. Frosty. A hidden gem of fighting games, and a saga that was sadly forgotten.
Retroarch default install doesn't ship with it, but you can get them easily from the online updater using the "update slang shaders" option. This is the "basic" package only tho. If you want everything including some example shaders+bezels you can get them from their github.

Where should I get borders for GBA/SNES/NES/PSX emulating?
It's a retroarch feature so unless the individual Android emulators support it or unless a Linux port of Batocera gets made for this device I dunno. You can read about the retroarch bit here. Maybe you can set the Android port of Retroarch to be the default launcher somehow? It does exist in the Play Store.

Issues with Mega Bezel and Dulmon's bezel pack in RetroArch MacOS Metal
I'm trying to test out the newly added Mega Bezels and keep running into issues. I've been fighting with it for almost an hour now. If I install the slang shaders from within RetroArch, some of the Mega Bezels fail to load. I try to clone the github repo (git clone https://github.com/HyperspaceMadness/Mega_Bezel), I get files in the wrong places. While I can clone Dulmon's Mega Bezel pack from his github, whenever I try to load one of his presets, it fails to load, If anyone can help me make sense of how to set this up correctly, I'd really appreciate it. I swear the mac builds of RetroArch hate bezels.
