trying to rip my dvd, looks like the result of datamoshing - what am i doing wrong?
If you want to rip with handbrake, you'll need libdvdcss. Put libdvdcss-2.dll (64 bit) in C:\Program Files\HandBrake
- Is there any way where i can rip my dvds to my hard drive, i have a lot of older dvds, and they are starting to show their age, how can i digitize them
-
Mhm, yeah… I hear you, but I’m going to need a way around this please.
VideoLAN hosts an older Windows build that most likely still works. If it doesn't, there's this.

What's one piece of software/tool that's changed your life?
You can enable handbrake to decrypt DVDs itself with libdvdcss.
- As the DVD turns 25, why people still love collecting them — even with a shelf life

Humble beginnings. Ripping all our old dvds to my first file server pi
A little more complicated than VLC, but totally worth it if you're doing a bunch of stuff at once. The only caveat is that you'll need to copy/paste libdvdcss.dll (the DVD decryption library) to the install directory, usually "C:\Program Files\HandBrake", because without it, it can't read the discs, but once you've got that down, you can just configure your preferred options, hit "Start Encode" and let it do the rest.

Many of my movies have 'unknown' as the audio language, best way to batch update that?
I used Plex Cleaner for exactly this. And I have it set to run weekly automatically so new content that's added gets scanned for unknown tracks to be renamed too.

File Conversion
Some options. You could also just use ffmpeg/handbrake and batch convert. 1. Plex Cleaner 2. Tdarr 3. Unmanic 4. Sickbeard MP4 Automator

Renaming/tagging audio tracks in multiple files?
I used PlexCleaner to fix this. It worked great. PlexCleaner can do a lot of stuff, but I only used it for this issue. In order to edit audio track labels, the files have to be MKV's, but PlexCleaner can also remux your files to MKV if necessary.
- Can someone give insight why this movie is using direct stream not direct play?

Transcoderr- A tdarr alternative which uses a webhook to convert files after Sonarr/Radarr downloads it
PlexCleaner appears more complete, active and only requires a simple config-file, not writing plugins from scratch...
