embedded newb, need help including libcoap
If someone could explain how I'm supposed to include the libcoap library, I would be very appreciative. So far I have been able to build the libcoap executables and run them on my linux desktop. I can run the server and the client, and it works fine. However, I can't just run those x86 executables on the arm-based system. I have tried compiling the .so version of the libraries(with gcc for arm), so that I could include that in my .c programs (definitely couldn't get it to work despite using arm-none-eabi-gcc... is this only allowed in c++ programs?). I'm also really confused as to why half of the source files are .c files. For example, there's a coap_openssl.c file that has no main function, and defines a lot of the functions I would like to include. However, I don't seem to be able to connect the dots on how to make this all work cohesively.
