LanguageTool: Lacking self-hosted version and bad privacy?
When they replaced their open source browser extension with the current board source one, they didn't bother to give a justification, instead they just closed the issue that asked about it without response. Maybe there were more, but not sure about it.

100% Open source alternative for Grammarly
That's not 100% open source. They deprecated their open source browser extension, and made a new one that is closed source. What is even worse: they block and ignore issues asking about why did that happen, and why isn't the new extension open source. This is what actually landed them on my blacklist, that they're unable to communicate honestly, all the while their extensions require a remote, proprietary server for proper functionality.

Any Grammarly open source alternative??
The actual server is. However, the WebExtension has not been since April 23, 2021.

Grammarly is a key-logger
You mean the languagetool that claims opensourve but then deliberately fails to release the source for their new extension?

Readability checkers?
After completing the script, is it okay to run through a readability checker like readable.com ? Is this tool good?

Why did the hostess change my seating to the bar room instead of the dining room? I have email proof that I chose the dining room (non-busy night, non-holiday, 5:15 pm when the restaurant was not busy)
"Per se" was used correctly here. It seems that you literally copied from readable.com... But thank you for mentioning that.

Is there is a list of buzzwords (in English) that I can use as a reference?
I'm having a hard time finding a definitive list of buzzwords (in English) that I could use. There are websites where users can scan for buzzwords in their text, like readable.com and pressat.co.uk, but their buzzword lists aren't public and it seems their applications don't recognize many common buzzwords from the past few years.
